FIP is the highest level of accreditation available from the\u00a0<a title=\"International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iapp.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsiveNews\">The\u00a0<a title=\"Fellow of Information Privacy\" href=\"https:\/\/iapp.org\/certify\/fip\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Fellow of Information Privacy<\/a>\u00a0designation is available to data privacy and security professionals who have earned a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification as well as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certification. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) recognizes these credentials as the gold standard for information privacy professionals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsiveNews\">The Fellow of Information Privacy designation is awarded only to a limited number of data privacy and security experts. Work experience as well as peer references are factored into the IAPP\u2019s accreditation decision.
